MA, MFT, CCHT Leora Fulvio

Leora Fulvio is a California Licensed Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist specializing in the treatment of Binge Eating Disorder. She has been treating women with B.E.D since 1999 and is the author of the best selling book Reclaiming Yourself from Binge Eating: A Step-by-Step Guide to Healing.She is also the author of Recover – the first Psychoeducational blog geared toward helping people recover from Binge Eating Disorder.She has been treating Binge Eating Disorder since 1999, first as a Hypnotherapist and then -- after receiving her graduate degree in Psychology -- as a Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist.



I give you the same strategies I use with my therapy clients. 

A research study at Kaiser Permanente shows that self-guided treatment for binge eating helps participants become free from binge eating and is at least as effective as psychotherapy.  

My goal was to create a program that made binge eating treatment possible for those who were unable to do traditional treatment or therapy.

Helping people heal from the pain of disordered eating is my passion.

The loving tone of Leora comes through in each lesson/step. The program is called 5-Weeks but it never expires which means you can go back and utilize all the loving resources over and over. For anyone living with any kind of ED, you know there are no quick fixes, this program honors this truth. I can't say enough about this course. I have been working the steps for more than six months and I finally feel free. I've been suffering from binge eating and bulimia for more than 28 years. I've been to therapists, groups, 12 step meetings... I've been on Prozac, Wellbutrin, you name it. I've done it all. I was highly doubtful that this online program could help me. But Leora just gets it. Her teaching videos and meditations are right on target. How long do I have access?  Forever. Once you purchase, the program is yours for life. Go through it as many times as you need.

How much time do I need each day?  At least 5 minutes. Most people spend 15-30 minutes per day, but you can go at your own pace.

What if I can't do it every day? That's okay. This is self-guided. Skip days if you need to. The program will always be there.

Can I really recover on my own?  Yes. A Kaiser Permanente study found that self-guided treatment for binge eating is as effective as traditional in-person treatment.

Do I need to be on Facebook?  No. The private Facebook group is optional. You can do the entire program without it.
